The ONOC Equity Commission (ECO) ACE Award, or the "Active Champion of Equity" Award, celebrates outstanding individuals committed to advancing women in sports across Oceania. This prestigious annual honor recognizes those who demonstrate exemplary leadership, innovative initiatives, or significant contributions to promoting gender equality in sports administration, coaching, or technical roles.

Are you ready to take center stage and be recognized for your incredible contributions to women in sport? The ONOC Equity Commission (ECO) ACE Award is your chance to shine! This prestigious award honours one outstanding individual who is making remarkable strides in promoting women through sport across the Oceania region.
Only one award will be given each year with the recipient announced at the ONOC General Assembly or another prestigious Oceania event. Finalists will also receive Certificates of Recognition, shining a spotlight on their invaluable contributions.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Nominees shall be drawn from the following areas of involvement in sport: administration, coaching, or as a technical official. Nominations based solely on athletic performance shall not be considered.
2. Nominees must have made a significant contribution at the continental (Oceania) or national sport level in promoting the advancement of women and gender equality in and through sport in one or more of the following ways:
• Exemplary leadership and mentoring, and/or
• Innovative project(s) and/or
• Development of a particular sport or event which highlights the involvement of women.
Note: Long term service or involvement with the promotion of women through sport is not sufficient justification for selection on its own.
How to Apply
1. Nominees must fill out the ACE Award Application Form
2. Nominations should capture the full credentials of the nominee, relating specifically to their commitment and contribution to the promotion of women through sport in Oceania as per the selection criteria mentioned above.
3. Must provide supporting documents, references and must also include a high resolution photo of the nominee.
