Team Fiji Rugby Sevens Women's have surprised 2016 Gold medalist Team Australia 14 - 12 to make it to the semi finals of their competition.
Tries from Aloesi Nakoci and Ana Maria Naimasi which were both converted by Veniana Riwai in the 1st half was enough to ensure victory.
Team Australia also scored two tries but the kicking of 2 time Olympian Veniana was enough to ensure the girls had the opportunity to create history.
Meanwhile, Team Fiji swimmer Cheyenne Rova clocked 27.11 and came in third in heat 5 in the 50m Freestyle event.
Team Fiji sailor Sophia Morgan also completed her Olympic journey placing 42nd in her 9th and 10th race.
