The 2022 Fiji Sports Awards Organizing Committee welcomes JAD Travel and Hertz Rent a Car as the sponsor for the Volunteer of the Year Category at the 2022 Fiji Sports Awards.
Branch Manager of JAD Travel, Ms Jessie Sansom said, “Volunteers in Sport play an integral part in the organization and the successful delivery of sports in Fiji. Most National Federations rely heavily on volunteers who are dedicated people, often parents and former athletes who give back to sports for the enjoyment they have benefitted from.”
“We are happy to support this category and join Fiji Sports Awards in recognizing the role volunteers play in the success of sports in Fiji”, she said.
Fiji Sports Awards organising committee member, Ritesh Ratiram said JAD Travel and Hertz Rent a Car are one of the two new sponsors joining the awards and we welcome their commitment to sports in Fiji.
“I know a lot of sports related travel booking is made through JAD and we welcome and appreciate them joining the Sports Awards”, said Ritesh.
The 2022 Fiji Sports Awards will be held on March 25th, 2023, at Vodafone Arena. We encourage all sports persons, corporate organisations, friends and families to show their support for the talented athletes, coaches, volunteers and administrators who will be recognized at the event.
The 2022 awards will comprise achievements and contributions from 2020, 2021 and 2022as the Awards event could not be held during these 3 years because of Covid.
JAD Travel and Hertz joins Tattslotto, ASCO Motors, Fiji TV, Fiji Water, Paradise Beverages, Oceania National Olympic Committees, Sports World, Tappoo Group of Companies and Vodafone as presenting partners of the Fiji Sports Awards.

The annual Fiji Sport Awards acknowledges the important role that sports plays in developing our nations. It focuses on Fiji’s sporting industry in acknowledging sport’s most unique, influential and inspirational personalities and are the only national awards dedicated to recognizing excellence in Fijian sports.
