Nominations for the 2019 Fiji Sports Awards are now open and all National sporting organizations, clubs, sports associations, officials and athletes are encouraged to send their nomination
Nominations for the 2019 Fiji Sports Awards are now open, with National Sporting Organizations, Sports Volunteers, Sports Administrators, Sports Technical Officials, Coaches, Photographers, Sports teams, Clubs, Sports Associations and , Female and Male youth of the year and Sportswoman and Sportsman of the year nomination are invited to be sent through to the Sports Awards.
All National sporting organizations, clubs, sports associations, officials and athletes are encouraged to send their nomination through and to please read the conditions which invite nominating parties to compile the nomination submission with information on the respective 2019 achievements.
The annual Fiji Sport Awards which is staged in the first quarter of each calendar year acknowledges the important role that sports plays in developing our nations. It focuses on Fiji’s sporting industry in acknowledging sport’s most unique, influential and inspirational personalities and are the only awards dedicated to recognizing excellence in Fijian sportsmanship, Sports Leadership, Sports Integrity & Good Governance, Sports Volunteerism and Sports photography.
All sports Industry personnel who have produced outstanding work in sports and in their various sports communities during the qualifying period (from 1st January 2019 – 31st December 2019) and qualify for any of the above eleven (11) categories are encouraged to submit entries for the awards.
Nominations strictly close Friday 10, January 2020, and finalists will be notified by the Sports Awards Committee shortly after.
