FASANOC
FASANOC invites expressions of interest (EOI) from tertiary students, particularly those with a focus on Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Communications, to join eqUIP 19 Oceania - an initiative designed to develop young professionals through internships and employment opportunities. This program empowers individuals to make meaningful contributions to their communities through their through storytelling, media engagement, and digital communication.
eqUIP Oceania is a Commonwealth-wide program aimed at nurturing the leadership and technical skills of young individuals by providing invaluable internship experiences. This unique opportunity equips candidates with hands-on experience in media relations, content creation, and digital communication, helping them develop essential industry skills.
Requirements:
• Final-year student at Fiji National University or the University of the South Pacific
• Under the age of 30, currently in full-time education, or a graduate within the last 12 months
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• There will be a 3-day workshop in Brisbane, Australia from 17-21 March 2025. When applying ensure that you are available to attend this workshop.
• Must already have a valid passport
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in media coverage and communications for FASANOC events
• Develop content for social media, website updates, press releases, and newsletters
• Support in creating graphics, photography and video content for digital platforms
• Assist in managing media relations and engaging with journalists, athletes, and stakeholders
• Provide administrative support for FASANOC’s marketing and public relations initiatives
• Monitor and track media coverage related to Team Fiji and sporting events
