The IOC places athletes at the heart of the Olympic Movement and works to ensure that all athletes be able to practise safe sport, in an environment that is respectful, fair and free from any form of non-accidental violence.
With this goal in mind, the IOC has developed a toolkit for International Federations and National Olympic Committees that provides them with principles and guidelines to be used in the design of their own policies and procedures aimed at safeguarding the health and wellbeing of athletes when it comes to harassment and abuse.
You can find this Toolkit on the Olympic World Library here https://bit.ly/2B61sZa. It is available in English, French and Spanish.
If you want more information and resources on this topic, we invite you to consult our ZOOM-IM page about “athletes health and protection” here https://bit.ly/2VINerK .
