Swimming Fiji will know by July, 2024 on which athletes will be chosen by their International body, World Aquatics, to represent the country at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

At the 2024 Olympic Games, qualified swimmers from around the world will get the opportunity to compete at The Aquatics Centre from July 26th - August 11th, 2024.

The Aquatics Centre along with Le Bourget Climbing Wall, is the only permanent sports facility to be built for the Paris 2024 Games.

Fiji Swimming has been a part of Olympic swimming since the 1984 Los Angeles, USA Olympics when a team of swimmers including Gordon Petersen, Samuela Tupou, Warren Sorby, and Sharon T. Pickering took part in competition.

Four years later in Seoul, South Korea, Sharon T. Pickering and Warren Sorby would participate at their 2nd Olympics and be joined by Angela Birch, Cina Munch and Jason Chute.

At the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, Team Fiji Swimming would include 3 time Olympian Sharon T Pickering and Foy Gordon Chung and Carl Harvie Probert.

Carl Harvie Probert would continue to represent Fiji at the 2008, 2004, 2000, and 1996 Olympics.

Caroline Pickering would join Carl at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA and the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

In 2012, at the London, England Olympics Matelita Buadromo and Paul Elaisa would be chosen to represent Fiji.

Four years later in Rio, Brazil, Matelita would make her 2nd appearance at the Olympic Games and be joined by Meli Malani.

2020 Olympics in Japan, Tokyo would see Taichi Vakasama and Cheyenne Rova make their appearance in the sport.

Fiji has yet to win a medal in the sport.
